The reason for the arrest and place of detention of Foad Moradi, a citizen of Sanandaj, remain unknown.
Monitors of the Kurdistan Human Rights Defense Organization:
Foad Moradi was arrested in the first half of Aban without any specific charges at his workplace in Sanandaj.
During repeated visits to the relevant security institution and judicial authority, Foad Moradi's parents and wife have been unable to obtain any information regarding the reason for his arrest, the nature of the charges against him, or his place of detention. Despite a month having passed since his arrest, his whereabouts remain unknown.
Family members and relatives of this civil citizen state that Foad Moradi has a young child and, despite suffering from an illness, worked full-time as a laborer and in freelance jobs to provide for his family's livelihood, having no political or civil activities.
