The five-year prison sentence of Sorveh Pourmohammadi, a Kurdish language teacher, has been enforced.

On Saturday, April 19, 2025 (Farvardin 30, 1404), Ms. Sorveh Pourmohammadi, a Kurdish language teacher and member of the Nojin Association, was introduced to the women's ward of Sanandaj Prison, accompanied by her family, friends, and colleagues, to serve her final five-year prison sentence.
Previously, several other directors and Kurdish language teachers of the Nojin Association had also faced heavy prison sentences, convictions, and imprisonment.
